Finally available on CD! Those of you following the Returners saga would remember that this release was due out awhile back but was delayed when the Returners had their equipment stolen from their van and all the funds set aside to release the album were put towards replacing what was stolen. This release is the epitome of the Returners’ blend of Punk, Gothic, Hardcore, and Psycho, a haunting collection of songs that speak of Love, Death, Hope, and Despair. Lending a hand in the it’s rendering, Lost Souls features the recording and production work of Brent Clawson (Bullets And Octane, Wednesday 13, Black Presidents), Dave Klein (Agent Orange, Ghastly Ones, Bomboras), and Paul Miner (Bleeding Through, Terror, Nerve Agents).
The Returners are releasing a new EP entitled Darkness Falls due out later this year. The EP will feature three songs recorded and produced by Greg Hetson of Bad Religion and will be available on CD and 7″ Vinyl.
The third Ep from Southern Californian gothic punk outfit the Returners featuring Dave Klein from the Ghastly Ones / Agent Orange / Bomboras on keyboards. Side one is a 50s doo wop influenced love song vamped up to punk speed while side two is the Returners take on the classic 50s hit This Magic Moment. Both tracks were featured on the independent Canadian film “the Academy” by Idiom Films.
